Surgut GRES-2 is the largest thermal power station in Russia/ It is located in Surgut in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug near the GRES reservoir on the Chernaya River. It is the third thermal power plant in the world in terms of installed capacity and annual generation. And it is the largest producer of electricity in Russia.
